Pope Leo XIV lands in Angola for third leg of his Journey

Pope Leo has arrived in Angola, landing in Luanda International Airport just before 3pm local time, after having spent four days in Cameroon.
He will spend the next three days in the Angola, before then travelling to his fourth and final destination of the journey: Equitorial Guinea.
At Luanda International Airport, the Pope was welcomed by the President, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, along with two children who offered him flowers.
The Pope’s Angolan itinerary
On Sunday, Pope Leo XIV will celebrate Holy Mass in Kilamba before travelling to the Shrine of Muxima, where he will lead the Rosary and pray with the faithful. On Monday, he will travel to Saurimo, where he will visit the elderly and celebrate Mass, before returning to Luanda, wrapping up his visit to Angola.
Tuesday morning, he will depart for Equatorial Guinea, the final stop of his Apostolic Journey.
